Re: ROM adventures

I have tested all ROM's on my hardware and could not find any errors. dev7.rom on Gigatron 32K and 64K. dev128k7.rom to 128K extension by Marcel, extension-retro by lb3361 and the Novatron dev512k7.rom on my two extension-crazy I made a new PCB of Marcel's expansion incorporat...

Re: 2048 game
Thanks for a new game. Very nice. What is the difference between the 32k and 64k version?

Re: New one Gigatron in Poland
Very nice, clean work. The white paint covers the conductor tracks, which immediately gives a different picture. Also very nice solution for the DAC (R9).
If you want to follow lb3361 recommendation, you can get a PCB from me.

Re: Roadmap and status of Gigatron TTL
I don't really feel able to write ROM code, otherwise I'd love to help. In order to get more space in the ROM, Marcel certainly had the idea in ROM 6 with: # XXX Pucrunch (well documented) or eximozer 3.0.2 (better compression) https://github.com/mist64/pucrunch With ZIP I achieve up to 50% savings ...

Gigatron Soundcard
I became aware of the SN76489 through the "Tandy 3 Voice Sound - SN76489 ISA Soundcard Project" (https://www.vogons.org/viewtopic.php?t=54249). Since it only has write registers, it is well suited for extension to lb3361 extension-retro. I started making a sound card for this extension. I ...

Re: Pluggy Reloaded
Since the Arduino Nano Every (ATMega4809) is currently cheaper and more powerful than the PRO-MICRO, I once built a Pluggy Reloaded with the Every. (Reichelt 10,70€ https://www.reichelt.de/arduino-nano-every-atmega4809-ohne-header-ard-nano-eve-p261300.html?&trstct=pol_13&nbc=1) I added the A...

Re: And again a new Gigatron fan
A solder bridge can be seen on the underside of the expansion (JTAG between TDI and TMS). This is a mistake. I had removed them before the test. The picture is an accident.

Re: And again a new Gigatron fan
The current version of the "Multipuruose Expansion Board" from lb3361. This should be the end of the hardware development. I have a (bad) video of the possibilities here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NkXx2jeCFOU gigatron-multipurpose-expansion-board.JPG If there is a need, I can build e...

Re: Gigatron 512k and more
I come from Germany. I try the cheapest shipping. So far this has worked very well. When I'm ready to give away extensions, I'll ask if anyone wants one (cost of materials + shipping). So far I have soldered SMDs well by hand (QFP, 0603). The CY7C1049 and XC95144XL are a problem for my eyes though. ...
