Re: My Gigatron Build

Hi,

That's actually quite a big chip.. sorry for this to happen. I would have swapped it for another one - if there still had been one. I hope a bit of "mahogany red/brown" varnish can help cover it up a bit.

Good luck with the rest of the build!

We've included a UV-erasable EPROM because I think that is much more retro than an electrically erasable EPROM, but of co...

The assembly manual and a Bill of Materials are now also open sourced, see under "Manuals and References" on https://gigatron.io/.

Re: at67 emulator

Sorry at67, I pressed a wrong button and removed your posting as a result.. :(

Back on topic:

I don't know if this is the place to talk about tardisses. But here's the first part I scavenged, which now means I have to go along with the project.

1000+ and Gigatron future

In the last year, a lot has happened. We now have 6502 emulation and the Gigatron can run 6502 code such as Apple-1's WozMon and Micro-Soft BASIC. There's now also the BASIC compiler thanks to at67, opening the way to create great games. Looking back on the original goal to play tic-tac-toe on a LED...

In memoriam Marcel

Hello community, It is with sadness that I inform you that my friend Marcel has passed away earlier this week. You might have read his posting " On ROM v5a " in which he already mentioned that he had immunotherapy that did not work. There was no other treatment left. Marcel (and me for that matter) ...
