Re: Using a USB keyboard
I too had a lot of issues with the PluggyMc Plug Face (all three of them). Since the Gigatron's were the only devices I owned that could use as PS/2 keyboard I purchased a cheap keyboard. I found it would take 30-40 seconds before it would "initialize" and work, and occasionally it just wo...

Re: Two years of kit making and Open Source Hardware
Hello Marcel, Sorry if my previous question was bit out of bounds, and I hope you guys keep selling them. If you don't mind me asking are you guys looking to make a Gigatron v2 variant from all that you learned from your project over these years, or explore a very different architecture? I hope some...

Re: Fitting a screen inside the wooden box
It’s probably too expensive but if OLED screens would be perfect for this. They don’t need a back light, the pixels that are not turned on are mostly clear (depending one screen). Heck you could even use one of the creators demos and descriptions of operation. Then have boxes outline the appropriate...

Re: Half a night of soldering later...
So how long before you start the breadboard for the Teratron?
But seriously it’s impressive how expandable this system has been: SPI, SD cards, different vCPU cores... very cool.

Re: Pluggy Reloaded
I built and flashed two of the Pluggy Reloaded kits (picture below), and they worked on the first attempt. This is a very nice upgrade to the Pluggy family, thank you for making this available. Next up is to 3D print the case

Re: Pluggy Reloaded
In addition to the advice mentioned above, are you getting errors on one of the "include xxx.h" lines? If so make sure you put all of the other files from the \BabelFish directory into your same project folder. This code also makes use of some of the code base from the original Pluggy McPl...

Re: 500+
500 kits shipped is a big accomplishment itself. However I suspect the bigger one is the ratio of kits assembled and working vs abandoned attempts. I always hear how a lot of electronic kit projects have a 25-40% failure rate. I suspect yours is exceedingly low with the excellent manual, step by ste...
