built, worked for a little and then...
hello, I finally got the PCB and built my Gigatron TTL. I mixed LS and HCT parts (I used the LS I had). The ROM is v. 5A. I checked all the used parts with my TL866 eprom programmer, including the RAM chip. Apparently every used chip I put was fine. I used a 6.4 MHz crystal (I didn't find the 6.25 M...

Re: tutorial about programming ATTINY85 with Arduino Nano
Sorry, I missed the Arduino Nano bit. I've always used a TL866 programmer to program the ATtiny and set the fuses. How you'd set the fuses using an Arduino Nano I don't know. Actually it's quite interesting to know you can program the Attiny85 with a TL866 programmer, I didn't know. It simplify a l...

Re: tutorial about programming ATTINY85 with Arduino Nano
minipro -p attiny85 -w fuses.txt -c config do you mean I could/should use a tl866 programmer to program the attiny85 ? Mine tl866 (clone) is on the road, I bought one to program the eprom, since my eprom programmer can't manage it... But I believed I need ad Arduino Uno to program the attiny85. Out...

Re: tutorial about programming ATTINY85 with Arduino Nano
I hit at the same results, but I'm (still) confused about the "burning the fuses" I've read somewhere here in the forum...

tutorial about programming ATTINY85 with Arduino Nano
Hello guys and gals, is there any tutorial that explains how to upload the babelfish code into the AtTiny85 chip using Arduino Uno? I've found generic tutorials, but I'm new about that chip (I'm growing old and I know how to program eprom only, LOL), so I'm feeling unsure about this part. And I don'...

Re: whole board with 74LS
ok guys, thank you. I've watched the explanation video about the presentation of the Gigatron TTL (hey, it's called TTL not CMOS, LOL) and they told it was made to work with LS series too. Since the switch voltage of CMOS is lower that TTL, as principle if you put the switch line between 0 and 1 at ...

whole board with 74LS
hi guys, I just bought a gigatron board, can't wait for it LOL. The board was made for 74HCT series ICs; but I have most ICs of the 74LS kind so I with to use them instead to bought all the 74HCT chips. I know that theoretically the board should work with 74LS chips only. But did anybody test it yet...
