Re: Some of my Gigatron LCC programs

I seem to have triggered some bug, which appears to be a virus program that will make the Gigatron freeze and make noises and you will have to hard reboot to get back to normal.

Re: Some of my Gigatron LCC programs

I wrote a simple PI calculation program that doesn't seem to be very fast, about the same speed as MS-Basic.
Another program is a simple keystroke detection program.

Some of my Gigatron LCC programs

I have some knowledge of C language, but I have little knowledge of gcl and gtbasic. Here are some programs I tried to write using LCC.

Re: I made a ROM full of games

I tried the ROM and all games work. Thank you for contributing to the Gigaton. For a game ROM, some sort of zip/unzip for the games would be useful. I don't know if something like that is possible with a positive effort benefit. Compressing and decompressing games sounds complicated, and when I mad...

Re: LCC for the Gigatron. Take two.

I want to use LCC to write a game that only uses Gigatron controllers, is this possible right now? My idea is to use a function like getch() to implement it, but it seems that I can't use this function at the moment.

Also, it seems that LCC can't make the gigatron sound. I need some pointers.

Re: I made a ROM full of games

This is neat, but why are there so many duplicates? Two Pucmon, 2 Puzzles, 3 Invader, 2 Bricks. Are these different variations of the same? Like 32K and 64K, or for different ROM versions, or what? These duplicate games are exactly the same. Actually, it is because the ROM space is not enough. At p...

I made a ROM full of games

I tried to make a loader with an arduino uno two days ago and it failed (objectively everything works fine, but my gigatron is indifferent to the loader). So I made a ROM full of games, based on DEVROM. https://s3.bmp.ovh/imgs/2022/02/ebab95e8a290dc82.jpeg Looks good, thanks for all the Gigatron Hac...

Re: Another successful Gigatron build

Another reason may be that I used a poor quality round hole IC socket, resulting in poor contact. This problem was encountered when I was building an Omega MSX2+.
Maybe my HM62256-15 and UM62256-70 are broken chips as they don't work in any other project.

Re: Another successful Gigatron build

Congrats! Is this the same unit you were debugging earlier? If so, I'm curious what was the issue with the board that prevented it from working? The story is twisty. I've been asking for help since my failure last May. Aside from me, at least two people have experienced similar failures. It was act...
