Re: My own PCB

Re: My own PCB

I've now seen the original green, white, and black. I believe red, yellow and blue are the ones still not having been made :-)

Re: Gigatron ASIC?!?

Interesting stuff. I can imagine this is a project that will be a lot of fun to do and it would be very rewarding to have Gigatron ASICS. Is the goal just to learn about these systems and have fun while doing so, or do you see the resulting Gigatron ASIC as something others would be interested in? W...

Re: Puzzles - A gem matching+smashing game

It is not yet completely clear to me when gems disappear and when not.

Budgetronics is just selling kits, any hard- or software updates should come from the community..

Re: 1000+ and Gigatron future

Re: Invader

Again, a very nice piece of software!

I hate it when the last invader goes so incredibly fast, I need to underclock the Gigatron to get a decent score.

I've put a version of the emulator with an Invader-only ROM online as well: https://gigatron.io/emu-invader/

Re: Invader

Those games came out in a time where people had to put effort into writing very lean code, possibly using some dirty tricks as well. It's funny to see that the Gigatron requires you to take on that mindset again. I did not know this was really the first blockbuster arcade game. When I spent time in ...
