Re: LCC for the Gigatron. Take two.
There might be problem with compiler. I modified my ascbrot.c and ascjulia.c a bit and those GT1s don't run at my Gigatron or Web emulator. With gtemu-at67 it seems to work. Then I tried the original codes from stuff/veekoo and those behaved the same way. Now I have diffrent GT1s that don't work. Th...

Re: ROMv6!
I want to thank everyones contribution to GIgatron project. Without support it would not have been such a success. Both ROMs are needed for the hobby to continue. I know that everyone uses their free time and good will to continue support, it's not self-evident.

Re: ROMv6!
Happy to test stuff. Couple of minor things with ROMv6. 1. Happend once with Snake and rebooting by press of key caused program halting with boot screen and some garbage. Very often I have seen this garbage pattern when program is wrong rom version (playing years with gigatron). 2. My own programs ...

Re: ROMv5 ?
Hello, I also support new stable release. Name could be v5, because v5a is like alpha and v5 is the stable release.
Pictures feature should be replaced with a game; invaders or pucmon.
How is Pluggy Reloaded, does it work then with new release?

Re: Lies, Damned Lies and Benchmarks.
Good point. Watching the leds I counted:
sieve0 22,26sec 16,05sec -> 1,146 ratio
sieve1 21,22sec 14,55sec -> 1,039 ratio
sieve2 16,12sec 11,13sec -> 0,795 ratio

Re: Lies, Damned Lies and Benchmarks.
I tested sieve 0, 1 and 2 C-programs in two screen modes. First was the videotop_v5 mode and second was zombie mode. I timed it with separate clock. It might take time monitor to get picture after zombie mode. sieve0 22,26sec 18,55sec sieve1 21,22sec 17,07sec sieve2 16,12sec 13,62sec reference time ...

Re: LCC for the Gigatron. Take two.
Thanks for info. I tested zoomed in version of burning ship. Previously it took 1 hour to draw the screen, but with zombie mode it managed to do it in 33 minutes. That was only for testing it and I don't plan to use it in future.
