Another 3D printed case for the Gigatron TTL

Post by AnestisZX »

Hi all,

This is my first post on this forum as I have very recently built a Gigatron TTL. This one lives in northern Greece.
I also needed a 3D printed case for it, so I designed one inspired by djones60's initial 3D model found in thingiverse.

You can find the STLs here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6778935

Nice work! Just curious if the case can be mounted on the stand in either orientation. I'd prefer to have my Pluggy Reloaded at a lower CG and the USB cable up top.

Yes, I think so. The stand carries no screws or anything. You just push one piece into the other. What I don't know is if the Pluggy Reloaded PCB protrudes and then the case leans forward.

Thanks. I have cut a piece of plexiglass to try it on as well. A logo engraving on the plexiglass might also be interesting...

Looks like the PS2 keyboard is the issue in that orientation.

Here how it actually looks the Pluggy Reloaded connected directly on the serial port.

But with an extension cable and another similar case next to gigatron it could look like mini me :-p
